WHITE
WHITES are motivated by PEACE, seek independence and require kindness. They resist confrontation at all costs. (Feeling good is more important than being good.) They are typically quiet by nature, they process things very deeply and objectively, and they are by far the best listeners of all the colors. They respect people who are kind, but recoil from perceived hostility or verbal battle.

WHITES need their quiet independence and refuse to be controlled by others. WHITES want to do things their own way, in their own time. They ask little of others, and resent others demanding much of them. WHITES are much stronger than people think because they don't reveal their feelings. WHITES are kind, non-discriminate, patient and can be indecisive, timid, and silently stubborn. When you deal with a WHITE, be kind, accept (and support) their individuality, and look for nonverbal clues to their feelings.

Current Mood: amused
Your brain: 140% interpersonal, 60% visual, 100% verbal, and 100% mathematical!
Congratulations on being 400% smart! Actually, on my test, everyone is. The above score breaks down what kind of thinking you most enjoy doing. A score above 100% means you use that kind of thinking more than average, and a score below 100% means you use it less. It says nothing about how good you are at any one, just how interested you are in each, relatively. A substantial difference in scores between two people means, conclusively, that they are different kinds of thinkers.

Matching Summary: Each of us has different tastes. Still, I offer the following advice, which I think is obvious:

  1. Don't date someone if your interpersonal percentages differ by more than 80%.
  2. Don't be friends with someone if your verbal percentages differ by more than 100%.
  3. Don't have sex with someone if their math percentage is over 200%.

My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 94% on interpersonal

free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 64% on visual

free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 85% on verbal

free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 72% on mathematical

After the self-restraint of my shopping trip at Barnes & Noble the other day, I decided to set up a wish list with Amazon to make shopping a bit easier for both my dear husband and myself (so that I remember the cool books that I saw and that were recommended to me). Sure makes it easier to use up my B&N points if I actually have a list of the things that I wanted. :-)

Okay, here is the one item that I REALLY REALLY want for Christmas this year:

Amy Brown 2005 Calendar

It looks like most places are sold out already. *pout* I sure hope someone gets this for me!

Ooh - and have I mentioned my desire to wallpaper my desk area (work or home, not sure yet) with Amy Brown prints? I've never really had the urge to collect anything, but I think that her faerie art might just do it.

*sigh* And just let me tell you how sad I am that the largest size (XL) that the cap sleeve t-shirts on this site come in is only equivalent to a JUNIOR SIZE 10 - how wrong is that?

You're less religious, traditional, and uptight than most Democrats.

Smoking pot, homosexuality, and gambling are all okay in your book.

You prefer that the government help people take care of themselves.

Nov. 28th, 2004 @ 06:26 pm Gift ideas/hints
Current Mood: silly
For anyone (particularly my dear husband), here are some ideas for holiday gifts for me:

Art items - I'm not sure exactly what, but I'm really tired of not having any creativity in my life - maybe some pastels and some nice art paper - maybe a little easel, a canvas, and some oils - I don't really know. I just want a way to express myself with my hands - with vibrant color. You get the picture. Naiah & Michelle could probably be inestimatable help in this area.

Books! Always a good gift and yes, I currently have a queue of many books, but at the moment I'm upgrading my classics section with the B&N Collector's Library Editions. I've got a bunch of them already, but there are a bunch more that I want: Great Expectations, Madame Bovary, Oliver Twist, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Tales of Mystery and Imagination, Little Women, The Secret Garden, Alice in Wonderland & Through the Looking Glass, and Just So Stories & The Jungle Book. Of course good books that you feel I just MUST have in my library are always good choices too. :-)

Stemware - I want very badly to round out our stemware collection that we didn't receive from the wedding. We have the Waterford Marquis Vintage Collection and still need *sigh* all the following: 2 Vintage Iced Beverages Set of Four, 2 Vintage Pilsner Set of Four, 4 Vintage Brandy Pairs, 2 Vintage Flutes Set of Four, 3 Vintage Large 10oz Martini Pairs, 2 Vintage Oversized All Purpose Goblets Set of Four, and the Rectangle Tray with Black Leather Handle.

I'll post more as I think of them. Yes, I'm quite the princess - I know.
